We're Closing Our Doors Tomorrow
Here's why
Tomorrow at my company, Cleanview, we're closing our "digital doors" to all new business in solidarity with those protesting the violence of ICE in Minnesota. Anyone who visits our website or sign-up page will see this message:
Today, Cleanview is closed for new business in solidarity with those protesting the violence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minnesota. Recently, federal agents and officials have:
Killed two US citizens exercising their First Amendment rights—Renée Good, a mother of three, and Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse—and then called them terrorists.
Broken into the homes of US citizens without judicial warrants, breaching the Fourth Amendment, and held them without due process.
Questioned Americans' right to legally carry firearms—a Second Amendment right—which the NRA has called "dangerous and wrong."
All of these actions are a threat to freedom and democracy in America. That’s why we’re joining Americans from all sides of the political spectrum in condemning these actions.
We’ll open up our “digital doors” for business tomorrow.
If you would like to join me in protesting these actions, you are more than welcome to copy and paste (and edit) my statement and share it with your customers or community.
As I wrote earlier this week, when most Americans learn about what's happening in Minneapolis, they don’t approve of it. They see the cruelty and abuses of power for what they are.
But many people aren't hearing about these injustices. That's why I'm choosing to use our platform as a company and my voice as an individual to speak up.
Every American should know what’s happening right now.

Bravo!
