A fun milestone and new video
An update on the first 6 months of making videos about climate change
For the last month I’ve been working on a video based on a story I published in April. It’s about the weird loophole that supersized cars in America. And I’m excited to share that I published that video today.
I’m also excited to share that a few weeks ago, the Distilled YouTube channel reached 10,000 subscribers 🎉
As many of you know, I launched the channel at the beginning of this year. Since then, I’ve published 10 videos about everything from the power of grassroots organizing to the incredibly glamorous topic of water heaters to mysterious exploding craters in Siberia.
I’ve funded all the videos—all the production, editing, animation, and of course, the $10 set of cardboard VR goggles I used to visit Shell’s offset project virtually—with paid subscriptions from many of you.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this work. I mean it when I say that it wouldn’t be possible without you.
Onward!
